Summer Reading is Coming!

As most of you know, we will be having two great summer reading programs here in the Youth Services Department.

For kids 0-11 years old, we have the fabulous "Catch the Reading Bug!" program. Kids can pick up their checklists to start earning prizes on June 5 (the last day of school!) Kids can complete one checklist for a prize and keep right on going! There are 12 possible checklists--kids who complete 10 will receive a free book and a "Catch the Reading Bug" T-shirt!

For Teens who are rising 6th graders and above, we have "Metamorphosis." Teens can read anything (and we do mean anything!) to enter our weekly prize drawings. We have prizes from area retailers like Subway, Video Plus, and Ohlala as well as DVDs, CDs, iTunes cards and more!

In addition to our kids Summer Reading Programs, this year we are excited to introduce our first ever Adult Summer Reading Program! "Pollinate Your Mind" allows the grown-ups in the family to earn some fabulous prizes while modeling reading for the kids! Check in at the Reference Desk for more information on this great new program!
